  1. Alpharetta's annual Wire & Wood Festival is this upcoming weekend! There will be over 30 live music performances throughout downtown plus foodtrucks. There's a kick off party Thursday evening at the Avalon. (Awesome Alpharetta)
  2. The Cumming Country Fair & Festival starts on Oct 6 and runs through Oct 16 at the Cumming Fairgrounds! There will be fun for the entire family with rides, attractions and the Miss Cumming pageant. Admission for ages 11 and up is $10 and ages 10 and under is free. (Cumming Fair)
  3. The City of Milton is looking for a new Building Inspector. The position requires inspecting commercial and residential properties to make sure they're in compliance with local codes.   • Are you planning to donate books to the Milton Library for the booksales? Use our handy book donation slot behind the barn! If you have more books than can fit on a 3 foot long shelf, please bag or box them and leave them at the door and call us when you drop off. Please do not leave books outside if it is likely to rain.   • Are your children interested in joining a book club at the Alpharetta Library? Children in grades 4-6 are invited to join a storytime book club. Students will read the first chapter of a book, and they can check it out to finish it. There will be an opportunity to discuss the book as well. (Alpharetta Library)
  • The Alpharetta Planning Commission will have its next scheduled meeting on Oct 6 starting at 6:30 PM.
