Police: Adults Rob Teenagers of $20 at Gunpoint

The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

A 15-year old boy told police that a friend and he were walking along Lexington Rd around 8pm on October 28.

Near the Woodlake Place intersection, a pick-up truck carrying two black men pulled along side them. The men asked them some questions and the passenger pointed a gun at him and demanded the $20 he had in his hand.

The boy complied and the driver left, heading west on Lexington Road. The truck was described as blue and similar to a Chevrolet Z71. The suspects were described as young, 17 to 20 years of age, 6’, slim build, with short twist type dreads.

The passenger wore a black shirt or sweatshirt. The driver possibly wore a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect with the gun had what appeared to be a tattoo or scar in the shape of a lightning bolt or teardrop on the right side of his face.

Police officers searched the area but were unable to locate a vehicle that matched the one described.
