Missing GA Woman Found Dead

A 77-year-old Georgia woman missing for four days has been found dead, police say.

ATHENS, GA — A 77-year-old woman who disappeared Friday has been found dead in the area of Dairy Pak Road, Athens-Clarke County Police said.

Police said Monday that Lille Mae Wade was found dead around 1:30 p.m. near Dairy Pak.

She was seen leaving her Hancock Avenue home between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. before being spotted Friday evening on Dairy Pak, police said.

Drones, K-9 units, ATVS and officers from multiple agencies searched for Wade, police said.

Foul play is not suspected in her death, and the manner of her death was unknown Monday, police told Patch.

"ACCPD expresses our condolences to the family and friends of Lillie Wade. We are deeply appreciative of our community members and partner agencies for their assistance and support throughout this search," police said in a news release.
