Cook Out Restaurant Wants to Open in Willowwood Shopping Center
If all goes according to Hoyle, the east side will be getting a new restaurant.
The Athens Clarke County Planning Department has received a permit application has to construct a 2,800 square foot Cook Out restaurant with a drive-through on the east side of Athens.
Cook Out is a privately owned restaurant chain based in Greensboro, North Carolina. It serves hamburgers, shakes, hot dogs and barbecue. Most of its 100 locations have both a drive-through window and outdoor seating.
The planning department will review site development plans for the project, including the building location, parking lot configuration, driveway access, grading plans, utility plans and landscaping.
