Dollar General Submits Plans for Whitehall Road Store

There's not a lot of commercial development along Whitehall Road until you get to Peppino's at the intersection of South Milledge and Whitehall. But that may change.

Dollar General officials have submitted to the Athens Clarke County Planning Department an application to build a 9,100 square foot Dollar General retail store on land next to Peppino's. 

On October 3, the Planning Department will review the plans. They will consider the site development plans for the project, including the building location, parking lot configuration, driveway access, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater management facilities and landscaping.
