Fight at Clayton Street Bar Leaves Man Unconscious
The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

Around 1:35am on October 13, Athens Clarke County Police officers responded to a fight at a Clayton Street bar.
They found a man who had been knocked unconscious. An investigation revealed the man had been in a verbal altercation with approximately four white men earlier in the night. Later that evening, he was again approached by the group and they began to argue.
The man struck one of the group on the head with a beer bottle. Another member in the group picked up the man and slammed him to the floor. He then grabbed the man by his shirt, sat him up and punched him in the face several times.
Another patron grabbed the suspect and ran him into the bar. The suspect then left. He was described as 5’8” to 6’2”, “big and stocky,” 260 to 270 pounds, with shoulder length “scraggly” hair. He wore a red UGA hat and a red UGA polo shirt.
EMS responded to treat the unconscious man.
