Man Exposes Himself at Ben Burton Park in Athens

A 38-year old man told Athens Clarke County Police that he was at Ben Burton Park, 616 Mitchell Bridge Road, between 9:30 and 9:45am on October 3.

While sitting beside the river he heard movement behind him. He turned around and saw a white man exposing himself.

When the older man called out to him, the suspect fled down the hill, toward the parking lot.

The older man described the man who exposed himself as being 25 to 30 years old, six feet tall, 160 pounds, with blonde hair. He was wearing a blue and purple horizontally stripped shirt, khaki pants, and white New Balance sneakers with a grey “N" on them.
