New Coffee! Exhibit Coming to Coffee House

René Shoemaker, Athens area-based artist, is exhibiting her new work at Jittery Joe's downtown location on the corner of Broad Street and Jackson Street. 

The theme of the exhibit is: Coffee! - the pleasure that comes while drinking it; the time spent either by oneself or in the company of others, coupled with the pleasure of travel; finding new coffee experiences while discovering new parts of the world.

Ms. Shoemaker will be displaying bold yet sensitive prints - prints on paper, unlike the silk painting work that she is known for.  Ten framed prints are titled after the locations they were experienced in, from Paris, to small towns in France and Germany; then back home to Athens, Georgia.
