Open House for Downtown Athens Master Plan Set for October 29th
Work on the Downtown Athens Master Plan began in 2012.

After months of interviews, presentations, forms, discussions and public meetings, UGA Professor Jack Crowley and his team of researchers are ready to present the final draft of the Downtown Athens Master Plan.
There will be an open house on October 29th in the Chamber of Commerce building on Hancock from 5:30pm to 7pm. The public is encouraged to attend the session, to offer feedback on the plan.
There will be easels displayed with renderings. Jack Crowley and his graduate students will be on hand to answer questions about the features of the plan. People can bring up their concerns to Crowley in a one-on-one setting.
