TeleNet Marketing grows to more than 400 employees

BOGART, Ga. – TeleNet Marketing Solutions now employs more than 400, making the business-to-business teleprospecting firm one of the largest private employers in Oconee County.

TeleNet’s increase in employees comes with ever-increasing revenues for the firm – TeleNet saw its revenues rise by more than 7 percent in 2013, marking the ninth-straight year of growth. 

“Our growth speaks to the fact that we help deliver a strong return on our clients’ investment,” said Ashlea Harris, TeleNet’s vice president of program management and operations. “Our clients are able to directly correlate revenue to the sales ready lead opportunities we uncover for their marketing and sales teams.”

In addition to adding several dozen marketing communication specialists to their call center, TeleNet has filled 14 managerial and call center support positions in recent months, 11 of which by promoting employees within the organization.  These positions include:

-        7 Supervisors

-        1 Quality Assurance Specialist

-        2 Program Directors

-        1 Director of Client Services

-        1 Data Management Specialist

-        1 Recruiter

-        1 Account Executive

“Whenever possible, we prefer to promote from within,” Harris said. “We want our employees to see that our organization gives them an opportunity to further their careers as they advance their skills. Many of our supervisors and managers started out as marketing communication specialists within our call center.”

The growth in employees and clients has been steady, Harris added. With the recovering economy, many longtime clients are turning to TeleNet with more needs. More needs have meant more opportunities for advancement.
