The attack reportedly occurred outside a Prince Avenue convenience store.

A UGA student told Athens-Clarke County police officers he was the victim of a robbery and a beating late Sunday night.
According to a police report, the student said the incident happened when he was leaving a convenience store at Prince Avenue and Barber Street around 11:45 p.m. on Feb. 10. He recalled hearing someone say, βHey,β and as he turned, he says he was tackled to the ground.
The alleged victim believes that while he was on the ground, two men went through his pockets and removed his wallet which contained identification, a debit card, and maybe $1, the police report says.
