Once again, New Belgian Clips Beer and Film Tour comes to the Lyndon House on Friday at 7pm. TheΒ chosen films include mastering the technique of dice rolling; the quest for the ultimate full moon shot; a duel to be the hippest hipster; and homebrewing in a small New York City apartment.
The West Broad Farmers Market is Saturday at 10am. There will be children's activities, horseback riding, health screenings and a cooking demonstration.
On Saturday at 10am is the Athens Water Festival at Sandy Creek Park, whose theme isΒ Clean Water. Live Better.Β You'll have a chance to participate in interactive games, explore trucks, meet animals and listen to music. You canΒ swim in the lake, canoe, orΒ learn the art ofΒ stand-up paddle boarding.Β
There's a Second Sunday Community CelebrationΒ at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. There's lot of music and a light supper.
