Woman Hit and Killed by Motorist on Winterville Road

Around 7:50 p.m. on Sept. 25, a 38-year-old man from Timber Drive was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer heading west on Winterville Road.
Linda Irene Quillian, 69, of Spring Valley Rd, was walking with two other people, also heading west on Winterville Road.
Just west of the Ben Epps Drive intersection, the Ford Explorer hit Quillian. She died at the scene.
The other people were not involved and, therefore, were not injured. No citations were issued as the investigation continues.
