2020 Atlanta Parade of Homes Kicks Off Saturday

ATLANTA, GA — The 2020 Atlanta Parade of Homes is kicking off this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Presented by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, this free, self-guided event will feature more than 100 new homes across metro Atlanta.

The Atlanta Parade of Homes will continue during the weekends of June 20 and 21 and June 27 and 28 as well.

“The 2020 Atlanta Parade of Homes will allow homebuyers the opportunity to walk through an eclectic collection of new homes and choose the perfect place to call home,” said the association in a news release.

A wide variety of homes will be showcased. The list includes a mix of affordable entry-level homes and townhomes, moderately priced, large homes in popular communities, and elegant mansions in exclusive gated neighborhoods.

Parade attendees will choose which homes they would like to visit based on style, location and price point. They will create their own personalized routes and use them to explore potential home options.

Social distancing, as well as other safety measures will be followed.

Many homes are move-in ready for immediate purchase.

To facilitate the Parade experience, participants can download the free ATLHomesParade app, available in the Apple and Google Play stores. The allows homebuyers to scroll through all 100-plus listed homes with detailed descriptions and photos that give an overview of the homes before deciding to visit them. Attendees can also use the ATLHomesParade app to assist in navigating to their destinations.

When Parade attendees arrive on site to see a home, they can rank the home for a chance to win one of three prizes. The grand prize is a furniture set, valued at $7,500 and donated by Haven Design Works. Second prize is a Samsung UHD TV donated by Xfinity Communities, and the third place winner will receive an IQ Panel 2 smart home control center from Phoenix Systems. Winners will be chosen at random following the Parade.
