• 3-Alarm Fire Sparks At Ball Ground Land Company (patch.com) — A three-alarm fire heavily damaged a Commerce Lane land-clearing and paving business in Ball Ground late Tuesday night, though no injuries were reported. Cherokee County firefighters worked to save as much equipment and property as possible while battling flames and smoke at the Trench facility, and investigators are still determining what sparked the blaze.
