Barrow County Educator Finalist for 2014 Georgia Teacher of the Year
Brandon Mitchell is one of 10 finalists for the recognition.
A Winder-Barrow High School science teacher is one of 10 finalists for 2014 Georgia Teacher of the Year.
Brandon Mitchell, the Barrow County School System's 2013 Teacher of the Year, was chosen from a pool of 155 applicants.
Over the next several weeks, a panel of judges will conduct video observations and interview each of the finalists. The winner will be announced at the Georgia Teacher of the Year banquet May 3, 2013, at the Georgia International Convention Center.
