3 $50K Powerball Tickets Sold In GA, Jackpot Resets To $20 Million
A ticket sold in Arkansas matched all six numbers in Wednesday's drawing to win the $1.817 billion jackpot. Three GA players won $50,000.
Three lucky lottery players in Georgia won $50,000 in the record-breaking Powerball drawing held on Christmas Eve.
The winning numbers in the Dec. 24 Powerball drawing were white balls 4, 25, 31, 52 and 59. The red Powerball was 19, and the Power Play multiplier was 2.
A single ticket sold in Arkansas matched all six numbers drawn to win a $1.817 billion jackpot. The jackpot had a cash option of $834.9 million, according to Powerball's website, and was the second-largest ever won and the largest of 2025.

To win $50,000, tickets must match four white balls and the red Powerball.
Georgia's winning tickets were sold at the following locations, according to a WSB-TV report:

- On the Georgia Lottery mobile app by a Newnan resident
- Kroger, 435 Lewiston Rd. in Grovetown
- BP Food Store, 3880 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Duluth
Nationwide, eight tickets matched all five white balls to win $1 million. The winning Match 5 tickets were sold in California, Indiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
The drawing also produced 114 tickets that won $50,000 prizes and 31 tickets that won $100,000 prizes, according to Powerball's website.
Following Wednesday's drawing, the jackpot reset to $20 million.
Powerball tickets, which cost $2, are available in Georgia at gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores. Tickets can also be purchased online. The deadline to buy tickets for Saturday's drawing is 10 p.m.
The last time a Georgia player won the Powerball jackpot was on Oct. 23, 2024, when a $478 million ticket was claimed.
Georgia has had four jackpot winners since 2003. Together, they claimed jackpots totaling $943.1 million.
