Three Barrow County residents are among the 400 Valdosta State University students who were recognized for receiving degrees during Summer 2013:
- Angel Tuggle, of Auburn - Master of Library & Information Science,
- Christopher James Everett, of Statham - Bachelor of Science, Psychology
- Joshua Lee Knight, of Winder - Bachelor of Fine Arts, Mass Media
