Bethlehem Resident Earns Prestigious Brenau University Scholarship
Student credits her mentor at the Winder-Barrow Community Theatre with guiding her to a career she loves.

A Bethlehem resident was recently recognized as a Brenau Scholar.
As a Brenau Scholar, Sarah Catherine Dove will receive a full four-year scholarship valued at approximately $22,000 a year. According to a Brenua University press release, Brenau Scholars must maintain a 3.3 grade point average and a commitment to serving the community.
Dove is one of four Brenau Scholars named for the 2013-2014 academic year.
A theater major, Dove credits Don Wildsmith, her mentor at the Winder-Barrow Community Theatre, for guiding her to a career she thoroughly enjoys.
"Don was an inspiring figure who really helped me explore parts of the technical theater I never had access to before, and I loved every minute of it," Dove said in a released statement. "I was always told that you should want a job that makes you excited to work, and technical theater is that for me."
