Barrow County Employees will host a blood drive for the American Red Cross at the Barrow County Administrative Building. According to the organization's website, a person must be healthy, at least seventeen years old, and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds to be eligible for blood donation. Blood donors may give every 56 days. Additional requirements are listed for those wishing to be a double red cell donor. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make an appointment.
