Jug Tavern Festival to Feature Car and Tractor Show, BBQ Competition, Fireworks and More

The festival begins Sept. 11 and ends Sunday, Sept. 15.

This year's Jug Tavern festival includes five full days of entertainment.

The festival opens on Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. with the carnival. Thursday, Sept. 12, is Winder Barrow High School pep night. From 5-10 p.m., enjoy live music, food and craft vendors, carnival rides, tractor rides and other events.

On Friday, Sept. 13, live music will be performed by Weped at 5 p.m. and Moby Dick at 6:30 p.m. The barbecue competition also begins on Friday.

The musical lineup for Saturday, Sept. 14, includes the JP Blues Band, Bourbon Cowboy Band, Joe Hall and the Bottom Line Band, the Alex Hall Band and Bill Gentry. The car and tractor show will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. The barbecue competition awards will also be presented on Saturday. The day's festivities will close with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

The festival concludes on Sunday, Sept. 15 with the carnival.
