Sidewalk, Curbing and Gutter Construction Continue in Downtown Winder

This week, the Georgia Department of Transportation will continue work on the .72-mile, $4.9 million downtown Winder streetscape project.

During the day, sidewalk, curbing and gutter construction will take place between Porter Street and Athens Street.

During the overnight hours through Sept. 13, the westbound lane of SR11/Broad Street will be closed between Athens Street and Candler Street.

The project has an estimated completion date of July 31, 2014.
