UPDATE: Woman, Infant Child Found Safe
According to authorities, there is no evidence of criminal activity.
The missing woman and child have been located. The Barrow County Sheriff's Office released the following statement:
"We would like to let everyone know that the mother and child have been located safe. No charges are anticipated as no evidence of criminal activity regarding this incident is known. Thanks for everyone’s concern."
According to Lt. Matt Guthas of the BCSO, the woman and child were "located through cooperating law enforcement agencies."Â

The Barrow County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of a missing 30-year-old woman and her infant daughter.
Tanya Gippert was reported missing on Aug. 30. She was last seen leaving her residence voluntarily two days prior.
"There is no evidence to suggest foul play, nor any evidence the child may be in danger," BCSO Lt. Matt Guthas wrote in a press release. "The evidence at this time suggests the pair may have left the area voluntarily."
Gippert is described as a 5-foot-9, white female weighing 150 pounds. She has long, brown hair and blue eyes. Her infant daughter is a 14-month-old white female weighing 27 pounds. The child has blonde hair and blue eyes (see photo).
Gippert and the child are reportedly traveling in a gold 2000 Nissan Altima bearing Georgia tag PHR2416.
