Buford City Schools Beat Georgia, Gwinnett in 2012 Graduation Rates
The state Department of Education released the data May 21, 2013.
Buford City Schools' graduation rate increased more than two percentage points in 2012, according to data released this week by the state Department of Education.
The graduation rate in 2012 was 84.85 percent, and in 2011, the rate was 82.32 percent. Officials released the data May 21.
When compared to the state, Buford City Schools' seniors fared better. And, when compared to nearby Gwinnett County Public Schools, Buford students also did better.
