The Guevara-Rodriguez family of Buford is among the five finalists for “Most Deserving Military Family.” Voting that started July 3 continues through July 15 in the contest sponsored by the Atlanta-based law firm of Montlick & Associates.
The family with the most votes cast by the public will win a trip of their choice in the Continental United States, according to a news release issued by PR Web July 5. Montlick & Associates partnered with WSB-TV Atlanta in sponsoring the contest. Click here to vote.
Antonio Guevara-Rodriquez, a soldier in the U.S. Army who served in Afghanistan, and his wife Jennifer are dedicated to caring for their two children. Their youngest, son Henry, needed heart surgery when he was born. Their 6-year-old daughter, Galilea had to have brain surgery. Their mother Jennifer was diagnosed with acute leukemia at almost the same time.
“On behalf of all of us at the firm, we salute Antonio and Jennifer Guevara-Rodriquez for their commitment and dedication to their family and to our country. We wish them all the best in this year’s contest, as well as health and happiness,” said Montlick & Associates Founder and CEO David Montlick in the news release.
The winning family, along with four runner-up families, will also receive season passes to Six Flags and White Water theme parks.

This is the sixth year that Montlick & Associates has partnered with WSB-TV Atlanta to sponsor the “Most Deserving Military Family Contest.”

The voting period ends at 5 p.m. July 15. The winning family will be announced on WSB-TV on July 21.
