In Buford, bring a blanket and enjoy Cinema Under the Stars Friday evening at the Buford Cultural Center Amphitheater. “Brave” is showing. Admission is free.

The free Movies Under the Stars/Summer Concert Series at the Mall of Georgia Saturday evening features a band concert followed by a big screen showing of the movie “Chasing Mavericks.”

The “Playing Together: Games” exhibit continues Mondays though Saturdays at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center.

There will be an opening reception Saturday for “H2o” at the Tannery Row Artist Colony Saturday evening.

Nearby, the Duluth BeerFest-Brews & Tunes features craft beers and music starting at noon Saturday on the Duluth Town Green.
