Officers arrived within two minutes of the call and learned that the complainant had not had contact with a female family member in two days. This was odd as they have daily contact with each other. An apartment representative was able to allow officers in for a welfare check and they discovered a man and woman inside, who were dead.

The man was killed from an apparent gunshot wound. It is not yet known what led to the woman’s death, police said. Detectives, CSI personnel, and the Medical Examiner’s Office were all contacted and responded to the scene for processing. A motive for these deaths is not known at this time.
