Mall of Georgia Shooting Injures Teen; Suspect Arrested
An 18-year-old man is facing charges in connection with a shooting that injured a 15-year-old boy at the Mall of Georgia.

BUFORD, GA — An arrest has been made in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy Saturday at the Mall of Georgia, Gwinnett County Police said.
Police said Khaden Williams, 18, of DeKalb County, was charged on suspicion of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The shooting injured the teenage boy outside of the mall shortly after it closed around 9:30 p.m., police said. The boy was being treated at a local hospital.

An officer working security at the mall overheard the gunshots and ran toward them, police said. The suspect, who police said was attempting to flee, was taken into custody.
Williams is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County Jail, according to jail records.
