Buford Man Charged With Murder In Roommate's Shooting Death
Gwinnett County Police said a domestic dispute between roommates led to the shooting death of a 32-year-old man.

BUFORD, GA — A Buford man is facing murder charges after police said he shot and killed his roommate during a domestic dispute.
Gwinnett County Police said Ian Stewart, 28, was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Gavin Fitzgibbon, 32, of Buford, around 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Roxholly Lane.
Fitzgibbon was found dead from at least one gunshot wound inside the home he shared with Stewart, police said.

Stewart was charged on suspicion of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail, police said.
