Painted Penguin Celebrating 1-Year Anniversary

The Painted Penguin at the Mall of Georgia in Buford is celebrating its first anniversary with a party from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 25.

There will be a face painter, a balloon maker, and complimentary refreshments. Door prizes will be given away every 15 minutes throughout the day. Also, there will be drawings for three grand prizes.

The Painted Penguin is a pottery painting studio with an extensive selection of plaster and bisque pieces. Aalia Sange owns the franchise located at the mall.

The studio also hosts birthday parties and special events and assists local schools with fundraisers.

T-shirts are available for customers to design in the store as well as bulk T-shirt sales for large groups such as schools, athletic associations and businesses.
