• Rabid Coyote Attacks 3 People, 2 Dogs In Buford (patch.com) — Buford residents are being urged to stay alert after a rabid coyote attacked three people and two dogs near Holland Park Drive, Wyncliff Road and Bennies Way in late December. The animal was shot, tested positive for rabies, and officials are stressing pet vaccinations and immediate medical care for anyone bitten or scratched by strange-acting wildlife. Local health and animal control contacts are provided for reporting possible rabies exposures.
