“The suspect took a money bag and took off running while firing gunshots at the victim,” police said in a statement. “The victim was not struck, but did return fire with his own weapon.”
The suspect got into a vehicle and escaped, police said, but did not identify the vehicle.
It is unclear whether the two robberies are connected.
Both investigations are ongoing.
