4 Arrested for Throwing Firecrackers at Kids on Halloween

Two Canton residents and two Woodstock resident are facing charges of reckless conduct for injuring a child.

Joseph Todd, 18, and James Worley, 21, both of Canton, Timothy Hix, 20, and Corey Hix, 17, both of Woodstock were arrested and charged with reckless conduct stemming from allegations that passengers of a pickup truck were throwing firecrackers at trick-or-treaters in the Middlebrook subdivision. 

They were released on $680 bonds, said Lt. Jay Baker with the . 

One child received minor injuries when a firework exploded nearby, Baker said. A resident was able to get a license plate number, leading to the arrest.
