Two pupils placed during the countywide judging for the PTA's annual Reflections contest, according to the Canton Elementary PTA's website: fourth-grader Deavin Pettway and fifth-grader Joshua Herring. Deavin finished first in musical competition and advanced to the state competition. Joshua finished third in literature.
