BBQ, Brews And Boos On Oct. 27 In Canton

This family-friendly Halloween party will be held Saturday evening along East Main Street.

CANTON, GA — If you're looking for anther opportunity for an outing to enjoy the fall weather, you won't have to look any further than Revival South's BBQ, Brews and Boos celebration. This family-friendly Halloween party will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, with the festivities kicking off at 4 p.m.

Organizers will close down East Main Street so you and the youngsters can enjoy food and retail vendors, live music, trick-or-treating, ghost tours and children's activities. For the adults who are so inclined, craft beer from Woodstock-based Reformation Brewery will also be on hand to sip while you take in the sights and sounds of the evening.

You hard-core college football fans won't be left out in the cold, as the much-anticipated Georgia-Florida game will be shown on the big screen. Please note trick-or-treating for the kids will begin at 4 p.m. and will run through 5:30 p.m., so be sure the youngsters have their costumes ready to show off.

This type of festival wouldn't be the same without music, so organizers have compiled a lineup of area bands that will take the stage. Here's the band schedule for Saturday's event:

  • 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Chip McGuire Band
  • 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: The Last Chance Riders
  • 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Slim & The Gems
