Canton PD To Host Facebook Live Town Hall Meeting

The live stream will last for about one hour, and residents will be able to submit questions for consideration.

CANTON, GA — The Canton Police Department will continue its impressive use of social media by using one of biggest online networks to host a town hall meeting.

The agency will host a Facebook live meeting that will begin at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26. The meeting is expected to last about one our, and the live stream will be available on the Police Department's Facebook page.

Chief Mark Mitchel and Deputy Chief Steve Merrifield will take part in the broadcast, which will be archived for viewing once the live stream is over.

Viewers of the event can post questions in advance by commenting on the Facebook event page or by texting questions to (470) 239-0008.
