1. On Tuesday, Oct. 4, Bells Ferry Road was shut down while first responders extinguished a house fire at Bells Ferry. No injuries were reported and the two residents were able leave the house on their own. (Canton-Sixes Patch)
2. On Tuesday, Oct. 4, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt a $361.4 million budget for the next fiscal year. The vote was unanimous. View the budget's details at the link. (Cherokee Tribune Ledger News)
