Cherokee County is looking to hire for multiple full- and part-time positions, including a records clerk, a stormwater engineer, and a Superior Court clerk. - In response to some frequently asked questions that have come in since 2022 tax bills were mailed out late last week, the Cherokee County Tax Commissioner took to Facebook to provide some helpful answers. The commissioner answered questions related to senior and veteran tax exemptions, escrow accounts, and when you may expect to receive a bill if it hasn't been delivered yet. - The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce is hosting a L.A.B.S. for Learning workshop via Zoom today (Sep. 13) at 2:00 p.m. The workshop will be hosted by Michelle Edwards of Magnetize.Me who will offer her experience and knowledge on how to establish and build your brand. - "Picture Perfect Cabaret" is coming to the Canton Theatre on Sep. 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. The performance includes a montage of Broadway favorites, with songs from shows like Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop of Horrors, The Greatest Show, and King of New York. "Picture Perfect Cabaret" is a musical fundraiser for Lolek’s Storytellers 22/23 season. (City of Canton)
- The Cherokee Career Expo will be held on Sept. 28 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Conference Center.
