Driver Killed When Truck Hits Tree In Cherokee County
The accident happened early Saturday along Ga. 108 near Waleska.
WALESKA, GA — A Canton man was killed early Saturday in a crash in northwest Cherokee County, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies were dispatched to the single-vehicle accident around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 6 on S.R. 108 just west of Waleska. A preliminary investigation shows a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Dylan Bohannon, 23, left the road and struck a tree, said sheriff's office spokesperson Jay Baker.
Baker said Bohannon was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. There were no passengers inside the pickup truck.
