How To Recycle Your Christmas Tree In Canton
Residents can drop off their Christmas trees at the city's collection site on Ridge Road through the end of January.

CANTON, GA — Now that the Christmas holiday is receding in the rear-view mirror, you will have to find a suitable place to dispose of the tree that was the center of your decorations.
For Canton residents, you can take advantage of a free service offered by the city in collaboration with Keep Georgia Beautiful. The city will take part in the statewide Bring One for the Chipper campaign.
You can drop off your live tree (NO decorations or lights) at the Canton Collection Site at 2525 Ridge Road from Wednesday, Dec. 26 through the end of January.

Bring One for the Chipper is a statewide effort to reuse Christmas trees. Since its inception, the program has recycled an estimated 6 million Christmas trees. The mulch from these trees has been used for playgrounds, local government beautification projects and individual yards.
Keep Georgia Beautiful and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs have joined forces with the following sponsors to hold the 2019 installment of the program: The Home Depot, 11 Alive and the Davey Tree Expert Company.
