Movies in the Park Returns to Canton

Northside Hospital's free outdoor summer movie series "Movies in the Park" will be returning to Canton in August.

The inauguaral film of the 2013 season will be "The Croods," on Aug. 10 at 8:30 p.m. The film will be played in scenic Brown Park. The park has views of the old city hall and the 1923 memorial arch.

Get to Brown Park an hour before show time and get free face painting, or pick out the best seat in the house (but bring your own chairs and blankets from home)!

This years' movie series is being sponsored by Northside Hospital-Cherokee, the City of Canton, and Southern Outdoor Cinema.

Movies will also be shown in Brown Park on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 12 at 7:00pm.
