New COVID Protocols Implemented At Cherokee Senior Centers
New COVID-19 protocols were implemented on Monday for the Cherokee County Senior Centers in Canton and Ball Ground.
CANTON, GA — New protocols are being instituted at the Cherokee County Senior Centers in Canton and Ball Ground.
“In an effort to keep one of our most vulnerable populations safe among the increase in COVID-19 cases, we are implementing additional protocols at the Senior Centers,” Senior Services Director Tim Morris said. “We ask that all of our seniors adhere to these protocols so we can do our best to keep everyone healthy and safe.”
As of Monday, a maximum of 20 seniors are allowed in the Senior Center at one time, and masks are required at all times except when eating or drinking. Temperatures will be checked before entering the building. No more than five people can sit at one table (including cards and games), and seniors are asked to refrain from visiting other tables or coming in close contact with others.
