What are you thankful for?

So, I lost my husband of 34 years to COVID in September 2021. I was determined to move closer to the bulk of my children and grandchildren (1 child here in Columbus with her hubby and 4 of my grands, and 1 son in Atlanta with 2 more of my grands.

So, I sold the home me and my late husband lived in, in Jacksonville,FL. and moved here to Columbus, GA in late November 2021.

My youngest daughter and son-in-love didn’t want me to move into an apartment, they thought of my safety along with me not having to sell all that me and my late hubby had acquired, so they let me move into their home and then bought another home less than 4 miles away to stay close.

This has been the best move I could have made; my youngest son moved here with me (he refused to leave my side after his Dad passed), and then he met his now wife, here in Columbus, and I gained a bonus daughter and 4 bonus grands. Then my older son moved here to be closer. I have also recently taken guardianship of my oldest grandchild.

God has blessed me in so many ways that I am beyond grateful and thankful; I have 3 of my 4 children living here, 7 of my 8 grandchildren, and 4 of my 12 bonus grands living here in Columbus, GA. Plus my youngest is expecting her 5th baby, making his/her appearance in May 2025, my 9th grand.

I have also had the hand of God touch me as He sent me an amazing, wonderful, loving, kind man into my life, my now husband. This man, my, Hubby, has blessed hands, as he has and continues to beautify our backyard and make our home a sanctuary. The song “Blessings” by Theresa Phondo is my signature anthem!!!
