• Covington inks $100 million water agreement with Amazon (rockdalenewtoncitizen.com) — Covington has approved a $100 million deal with Amazon Data Services to build a water reuse facility serving the company’s Alcovy Road data center, with ownership transferring to the city. The City Council unanimously backed four related agreements, positioning Covington to operate the plant and sell recycled cooling water back to Amazon.
