The seventh-annual 5K benefiting Special Olympics Forsyth is set for Saturday, Nov. 2, at 8 a.m., at the Forsyth Conference Center on the campus of Lanier Tech, according to Forsyth County Schools.

The Fun Run will begin at 8:45 a.m. Special Olympics athletes may run for free, and all funds raised benefit the Special Olympics Forsyth programs.

The school with the most registered runners will receive the following: a plaque, photo with the system's Special Olympic athletes, a photo in the newspaper and the school’s logo on the SO Forsyth website for the remainder of the school year.
