Abducted Girl in Extreme Danger, Says Georgia Law Enforcement

GAINESVILLE, GA — Authorities say a girl abducted on Friday is believed to be in extreme danger.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for Brooklyn Smith, 12, of Gainesville.

Smith is a white female, 5'2". She was wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts.

She is believed to be with Steven Spires, 31, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

They may be in a dark Ford Taurus.

“She is considered to be at risk and believed to be in the metro Atlanta area,” according to Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Stephen Wilbanks.
