Airport Owner Awaits Court Appearance in Grave Marker Case
He was charged with two counts of criminal trespass for allegedly removing old headstones and posted a $2,000 bond.

The owner of Mathis Airport awaits a court appearance on charges he illegally removed grave markers from a family cemetery, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokesman Doug Rainwater said Tuesday.
Joe Mike Voyles, 53, of Duluth, allegedly removed old headstones from a family cemetery that lies under an airstrip on property set for a residential development.
Forsyth County authorities Sept. 16 arrested Voyles after securing a warrant Sept. 11 for two counts of criminal trespass. He posted a $2,000 bond and awaits a court appearance, Rainwater said.
