Chicken Parts Spilled onto Ga. 400 Following Wreck
The driver that caused the crash in Cumming was cited for following too closely, a Georgia State Patrol spokeswoman said.

A Dawsonville man was issued a citation by state troopers after he caused a chain-reaction four vehicle crash which littered Ga. 400 with chicken parts, the Georgia State Patrol said Wednesday.
Vernon Sullens, 37, was behind the wheel of a 2005 Freightliner Conventional owned by Leon Jones Feed and Grain traveling northbound on Ga. 400 at approximately 6 p.m. Nov. 23 carrying a load of chicken parts, state patrol spokeswoman Robin Stone told Patch.
According to Stone, Sullens was just south of Browns Bridge Road when he rear-ended a 2013 Volkswagen Passat driven by a 16-year-old from Roswell. The Passat, in turn, rear-ended a 2010 Lexus driven by a Gainesville man. The Lexus then rear-ended a 2012 Ford pick up truck driven by a man from Wrightsville.

Sullens later told troopers that he was looking in his side view mirror to check his load and failed to notice the traffic ahead of him was slowing down and preparing to stop. Troopers gave Sullens a citation for following too closely, Stone said.
All parties involved were wearing seat belts and no injuries were reported, Stone said.
