  1. Alpharetta-based dental practice ConfiDENT has announced it will be expanding to Cumming. The new location will open in the "near future" following an extensive remodeling of the current space, the address of which has not yet been revealed. As per a recent Facebook post, ConfiDENT will be hiring for both locations; those interested in applying can visit confidentsmiles4u.com for more information. (Benzinga)
  2. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office has issued a "training alert" notification to the community. This week, the Sheriff's Office and Fire Department will be participating in a joint training exercise in the area of Horizon Christian Academy and First Baptist Church of Cumming. A "heavy police and fire presence" is to be expected in the area, and residents are asked not to call 911 regarding this issue. (Forsyth County Sheriff's Office via Facebook)
