County Seeks Public Opinion on Alcohol Ordinance Changes
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public meeting in March. Find details here.

Forsyth County residents are invited to attend a public meeting and voice their opinions concerning a pending alcohol ordinance amendment.
One change the amendment would bring would raise the number of special event permits a business with a valid alcohol licence can have each year, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Businesses are currently allowed 12 events per year, but the amendment would grant them up to 30.
The amendment would also allow these businesses to have cash bars at luncheons, receptions and other events outside of their regular business, the news outlet reports.
